Vehicle Description
Here is an excellent platform for a pro-touring project. It is a plane jane 350 manual drum brakes car. I purchased this car back in 2005 in hopes of make a pro-touring car. All the body work was done before I purchased it. There in no rust on the floor or in the trunk. The car is as sound as it gets. When I purchased it I thought it was complete but, as you can see there is very little interior left. It really didn't bother me because I was going to install a 2002 Trans Am interior complete with dash. The engine from what I was told is a healthy big block 350 with a turbo 350 trans.(shift kit installed) behind it. The rear is a posi. from a 1979 trans am with 3.90 richmond gears in it. I literaly drove the car 100 feet since I've owned it. The drivetrain was going to be pulled & I was going to install a 385 chevy, my trans & a corvette rear I had. The last 3 years I have been slowly purchasing everything I needed but the time has come to sell my dream. There is some surface rust from sitting (the original owner never seam sealed the welds)but it looks solid everywhere it counts. The hood is a nice attempt for a 400 hood but it's starting to crack. As you see in the trunk are some of that parts needed to convert the front to disc. Look for additional pics.soon
