Nash : Rambler AMC Nash Rambler 1965 Rambler Nash 330 American 2DR Sedan Mint Original

The  1965 Rambler American 330 was the economy car of the day. The little two door sedan was powered by a 195 cubic inch, inline six cylinder overhead valve engine which was coupled to a three speed transmission. The wheelbase was 106". Only 9,065 of this model were made during the 1965 model year.

This car has the VIN number of E123565. The original ID tag shows the following information: Body 067178, Model 6506-2, Trim 534-P and Paint 54-A.

This is an excellent, original, low mileage car which has never been restored, abused, damaged, neglected or stored in poor conditions. The mileage shown is 41, 915 which by all indications appears original.

The body is super straight. No rust ever, no dents, no damage, no bubbling, etc. The Grayish/Green Metallic paint is  all original and extremely nice with an even gloss throughout. The door fits perfectly as do the trunk and hood. All the margins and gaps are even and there is no sagging of the doors. The paint shows no signs of wear or damage, other than a few minor "door chips" on the driver's side. The glass is all intact and in good condition and all the windows work as they should. Underneath the car, the body floors and frame are excellent with no signs of damage. The chrome and stainless trim items are also excellent original.

The engine is all original and runs excellent. It starts easy, runs and idles smoothly, accelerates well makes plenty of power, and does not smoke or overheat. During the last couple of years, it has always been maintained and serviced as needed and has been driven regularly. The manual three speed, column shift transmission shifts easily and the clutch is smooth. The brakes are strong and stop the car evenly. The steering is tight with no play and is responsive. The engine bay is nice and clean and shows no damage. The chassis is also extremely clean and shows no signs of rust, wear or damage. The tires are newer and in excellent condition as is the battery.

The two toned interior is all original and excellent. The seats show no signs of wear, damage, tearing, etc. The carpets, door panels and headliner is also excellent. The dashboard is excellent and uncracked. The gauges are intact, original and all operate, as do the lights, horn and other functions. The steering wheel is also excellent. As this is a basic car, the only options are a radio and heater. It does have the original seat belts.

The trunk is very nice and clean with the original spare tire, trunk mat and a bound original Nash owners/service manual and business cards from the Nash dealers and mechanics who serviced this car.

 The car was purchased a about four years ago from a by a local dealer who bought it from the family of the original owner. He sold it to a friend who owned it for the last couple of years. It has been stored and maintained in their climate controlled car museum and has been regularly  maintained and frequently driven during the last couple of years.

Overall, this is a great opportunity to purchase a 44 year old collector car that is ready to use and enjoy and is all original. When you think of the over used selling phrases such as "cream puff" or "owned by a little old lady who only drove it to church in the spring"  or "time capsule" or "showroom new original" this is that car. Honestly. It can be used as a reliable daily driver and is as economical to operate now as it was in 1965. Low mileage, excellent original vehicles are becoming increasingly rare and increasingly desirable. This is an excellent and fun investment for a reasonable amount of money.

The vehicle was last driven on October 1,2009  and is currently running. The photos were taken on September 30, 2009.

This vehicle is being sold with a clear  title which is in the current owner's name.

They offer great door to door service to any countries outside of the US. We will store the vehicle is a secure, heated, indoor storage building for up to 60 days free of charge until shipping arrangements can be made, although payment is due as stated above.
