A True Survivor
’72 Cutlas
It has a Famous Rocket 350, four-barrel carburetor, 350 turbo Trans. The car was purchased new at Robert Chevy-Olds in PA. I purchased the car from the second owner, which started to do some restoration to it and lost interest. The car has an eighty percent of the original paint. Two small rust spots were fixed on the rear quarters and it was done correctly and professionally. The car was appraised for $17,000 as a number two condition car. I then changed the exhaust from a single to a dual 2.5-inch flow master kit. The car has a after market tack, a Sony CD player and MP3 radio system with four speakers that doesn’t interfere with the original AM radio which works perfectly. Had the transmission serviced and the rear axle serviced [fluids]. Has new front coils and bushings. It was aligned at the same time. Has a new water pump, fuel pump, and windshield wiper fluid container. The engine compartment was detailed and has new hood padding. The trunk was also detailed and has a new carpet. Extras also are a set of original 442 rear view mirrors and rims. I also have the original rims and hubcaps that are in mint condition with white wall radials that are an 80%.
