For sale a very very nice 442 has a 350 matching numbers with automatic Hurst dual gate shifter, dual exhaust, strato bucket seats, power disc brakes, power steering, a/c, ralley wheels and new wide oval tires. This is a real 442 NOT A CLONE I was told original miles, title reads original miles but no way to verify this. Although it is nice enough to be true.

The engine is a numbers matching 350 I have pictures of the cylinder head with number 7 on back rt. edge. Notice the new exhaust it is a matching Flow Master hand bent exhaust system with mufflers and "H" pipe (great sound) Has a mild cam and has HEI an distributor. Has a Holley carb and matching Holley intake. I have the original air cleaner with the 442 sticker. It is in mint shape but never had a chance to put it back on. New hoses, belts , spark plug wires and alternator. This was an a/c car but it has been taken off for looks. I have the complete a/c brackets and all if you want to put it back on. The engine has no known problems, no leaks, does not smoke and starts right up first time. Transmission is rebuilt 500 miles ago and a 2500 stall converter added at that time. Has the "his and her " Hurst shifter factory console. Rear axle is a 10 bolt with no known problems.
Interior is very nice has original am radio with factory added 8 track.The dash is perfect with on cracks or fading. Has White bucket seats, they are a little worn but hopefully by the time this car sells it will have brand new seat covers installed professionally ( I ordered them weeks ago but have to be made from scratch.) All electrical works correctly, turn signals, headlights, tail lights, interior lighting (even the center console light works).
Exterior is a Matador red code 75 Looks to be repainted at one time but I have yet to find any overspray ( find it hard to belive the paint is this nice after 36 years) There is no rust on this car ever. NO RUST all panels are original metal NO FILLER. You can eat off the bottom of this car. In all honesty it really is a show car with some detail work can be a show winner. Has new weather strips on doors, roof rail and trunk. Even the trunk has no rust in the channel or between the window and the trunk where all rust seems to start on these cars.
Suspension is tight, has power steering and factory power disc brakes. All in good shape. Has brand new Firestone Wide Oval tires (less than 500 miles) no known problems.
Known problems are as follows: 1.) a/c taken off, 2.) very small chip in windshield in rt. top edge. 3.)Seats worn but will be replaced ( I already spent $550 on the seat covers) thats it. Has small nicks, stone chips in paint.
This is the first old car I have ever said this about, but I would not be afraid to take this any where in the USA. It starts and runs out nice. Feel free to ask any questions and please come look at this car in person as it shows better than my pictures. Really has a nice sounding exhaust note.
I require a $1500 deposit within 48 hours or auctions end. Buyer is to pay all shipping cost. I can't warranty a 35 year old car, but if you come out and before you leave find any rust or body filler I will refund your deposit on the spot at your request. It is the nicest car I have ever seen at this age and I have had alot of musclecars over the years.
