1969 Opel Kadett L Caravan 2 door Wagon. One owner since new. 62,000 original miles. Always garaged. Super clean. California Central Valley car--no rust ever. 1900cc OHC 4 cylinder engine with 3 speed automatic transmission. Fresh complete valve job with hardened exhaust valve seats and new cam bearings. The engine has been freshly reassembled--all new gaskets, rod and main bearing clearances checked and are all within specs--runs like new. Transmission has been serviced and the front seal replaced. Rebuilt original 2 bbl Solex carburetor converted to manual choke. New electric fuel pump. New belt and hoses. Power assisted disc brakes work well. New battery (not shown). Good original glass. Original paint shines nice however it is thin in spots. Factory installed roof rack is in very good condition. Excellent original vinyl interior uplostry, headliner and carpet. Original AM radio works but needs a speaker. Nice chrome and brite trim. Original type bias-ply tires look like new but are at least 15 years old. This vehicle has been off of the road and in storage since 1992. Serviceable OEM style exhaust system is very quiet. Cooling system chemically flushed. Radiator and heater core do not leak. Fresh fluids and lubricants throughout. Like new original owners manual and dealer documents. Includes an original factory shop manual. There are a few minor dings, dents and scratches. There is one small crack in the dash pad. The fuse block cover is missing. Rubber dust boots on the steering rack are weathered and cracked. May need new shocks.
