Up for auction is an all original 1926 Packard, America's elite luxury 7 passanger sedan motorcar. This car was discovered in the garage of an antique house, where it has been sitting since the 40's. It was untouched and all parts are original. We don't know much about antique cars, because we are an antique dealer of art, but when we discovered this antique car we knew that we discovered a hidden gem. This car would be a perfect restoration project for anyone who has the expertise or enjoys collecting antique cars. The owner of this car has the title and maintanence papers. If you are interested in purchasing this antique car, please contact us and we can show them to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

On Oct-30-09 at 14:00:36 PDT, seller added the following information:Attention all current and prospective bidders! The title shows that the year of this car is 1927, NOT 1926. We apologize for this misinformation.
On Oct-30-09 at 19:36:25 PDT, seller added the following information:
Here are some documents that belong to the car. There are many more maintanence records and various other documents. The winner will receive all of them. Among all the documents, we also found pictures of an identically looking 1927 Packard, which appear to be reference pictures of another car taken by the previous owner. You can see them below. We will take pictures of the interior and post them tomorrow. Hopefully this will answer some of the questions we have been receiving. If you would like to personally inspect the car, let us know. It is located near downtown Chicago.

On Oct-31-09 at 13:42:26 PDT, seller added the following information:
We are showing more pictures of the car, its interior, and undercarriage. The engine and undercarriage are greased up so the rust is minimal in those places. These are all the pictures that we could take. We recieved some questions about the model number. On some of the maintanence records it state the model number as 433, but on one other it states 426 sedan. We believe this is the 433, because the 426 is a roadster model.
On Nov-02-09 at 18:01:14 PST, seller added the following information:We have received requests to measure the wheelbase in order to establish the correct model. The wheelbase is 133", therefore, the model is in fact 433. The maintenance papers identifying the vehicle model as 433 are correct.
