Packard : Clipper Deluxe Ready To Be Restored!! Runs and Drives!!

1953 Packard Clipper

This car was inherited at our dealership after non-payment for restoration work that was being done.  We are now offering it up for sale.  We are not the original owners and while the mileage on the odometer reads 7,723 the car is being sold as EXEMPT.  It does have a clean title. The car runs and drives but is not currently inspected.  The condition of the car could be described as fair for a car its age.  As you can see from the pictures, there are some defects both mechanically and cosmetically but the car does run and can be driven around the block.  Its a great starter car.

Parts-

     New Fuel Pump

     New Choke Tube

     4 New Wheel Cylinders

     Carburetor Repair Kit (Used to rebuild)

     New Hydraulic Hoses

     New Rebuilt Brake Booster & Master Cylinder

     New Brakelines

     New Generator

     New Regulator

     New Battery

     New Ignition Lock

All the items listed above are currently installed on the car. 

Here is a list of the additional service work that was done.

Service work-

     Manufactured & Installed a choke stove tube

     Flushed fuel line & Installed fuel pump

     Installed distribution block on brake master cylinder

     Brake system was checked using pressure bleeder after all lines were connected

     Flushed radiator & Added new coolant

     Set the Timing & Adjusted the carburetor

As you can see, there has been some time and money spent in returning this car to its glory days. With more TLC, this can truly be a wonderful car.  We do have the original owner's manual that came with the car as well.  It highlights some of the car's features like the Ultramatic Drive and Easamatic Brakes.  Great features for that period in time. Own your very own piece of history with this car.
