| selling a BARN FRESH, 1928 Packard model 526 sedan. I have been told that this is a very early production car. and is quite rare. this is a suprisingly sound car with the exception of the upper wood. it will need the roof wood completly replaced and some of the pillar wood as well. the doors do open and close well and they hang nicely, therefore all is not lost. the sheet metal is for the most part straight with no signs of rust through. the interior is present, but will also need a complete restoration. the engine is complete with correct (and very expensive) packard brass carb. the rear fenders are off the car but, included with the sale is a very nice solid and straight set of rears, as well as a set of headlamps whiche are also far above average. the windshield frame and hardware are present with the car. overall this will be an excellent restoration candidate. I purchased this car with a large collection. some of the cars had the firewall tags switched, or removed. I have now discovered that I do indeed have a title for this car. however the firewall tag that was on it was not correct. (it was for a '26). therefore, It does not have a firewall tag. But comes with the title and I will personally provide a bill of sale at the time of payment. please look closely at the pics, and please feel free to ask any questions, I will be happy to answer. thanks. I Have been told by several people that this is a '28 model 526, so again, please ask questions. |
