Great project car.Very low production due to war effort.
1940 Plymouth Business Coupe. This car has been in my family since the 50's. In 1957 my grand father flooded the engine with oil. He put it on blocks and it sat until late 1980's. Then he and my father pulled and flushed gas tank, replaced wheel cylinder, put new tires on and got it started.(was never driving around) Just started and fluids changed several times.
1990 my father trailered the car from my grandfathers farm in Ohio to Pennsylvania where it was in storage til he passed. 2002 I put the car in my garage where I have done little with it. Last year I was able to charge the battery. Was cranking long enough to move it in and out of the garage and the starter gave out. It is now in my way and have on interest in finishing it.
This is one solid car. NO RUST! It's all original and can easily be restored. I have the title and the repair manuals for car. I have set a modest reserve to protect myself. I will help with delivery and arrangements if possible. Feel free to contact me if you would like to see the car.
Would consider CJ or a convertible in trade. GOOD LUCK!
