1973 Plymouth Cuda 440
You are bidding on a beautiful 73 BS code Cuda. The car was originally white with white interior with 340 engine; it is also a no air car with only power disc brakes.
It now has a HP 440 with Edelbrock aluminum heads; heads and intake have been on flo bench. The engine has been bored 30 over with a performance cam. It has a 750 Holley carb. with electronic ignition and headers with Taylor plug wires. It has all new belt hoses, new alternator, starter, and radiator. The transmission is a 727 torque flight with manual valve body, heavy duty clutches, and out put shaft with 8 quart heavy duty cast pan. Also has a 2500 stall converter. Over $9,000 was spent on motor and transmission. This car runs as well as it looks.... Very Fast...
It has a 355 pos. rear end that is 8 and 3/4 . The car was taken down to the bare metal. Rear passenger quarter was replaced along with lower driver rear quarter. Car was etched and painted; the color is Stone White Chrysler and the semi-flat black on the rear and the hood is Hot Hughs.
Windshield is new and the rear glass has a new seal. All the interior comes with the car. The seats need to be recovered, headliner and carpet needs replaced. Door panels are okay and the orginal slap shifter goes with the car. The car also needs window and door rubber and trunk seal. The car has new marker lights and door trim. The rear brakes do need some work; probably rubber supply line. Car has air shocks on the rear, heavy duty springs on the front and the wheels are Torque Thrust II with 16" on the front and 17 x 9 on the rear. It has chrome rallie mirrors with rallie dash.
The car has Edelbrock mufflers that sound great. The floor panes are original and do not need any work. The trunk pan has a few small holes that can easily be repaired or replaced.
Engine and transmission was built at the same time; both have around 2,000 miles on them before the car was disassembled two years ago. It aslo has a transmission cooler and does not run hot. Oil pressure runs around 80 psi, 100 cold.
