This 1968 Plymouth Barracuda is a complete frame off restoration The restoration was completed in 2000 and since that time there has only been fifty miles put on the car. During the restoration process, the bottom of the car was painted the same color as the top. This is an unremarkable car with only 29,000 actual miles on the body. The car is built with super stock trim and only weighs 2600 pounds.
Then under the hood is a 1968 426 cubic inch full competition Hemi with 600 horse power and the engine was on display from 1968 until being installed in the car in 2000. It also has magnesium Cross Ram manifolds as well as original Holley Carbs.
Moving on, the transmission is a Hemi torque flight with a 400 stall speed converter.
The rear end is a narrowed Dana with strange axels with a 456 gear. And the exhaust features ceramic headers and Flowmaster mufflers.
Other features include Cragar wheels, superstock suspension, a twelve gallon fuel cell, and aluminum radiator. The car also has fiberglass fenders and hood.
This is a very unique car and a rare find. I am selling the car for a friend. Please call Jeff with any questions or to see the car by appointment at (219) 508-5729.
