Vehicle Description

What we have is a cool 1973 Cuda. I bought this car from a gentleman in Wisconsin 4 years ago. We have had a great time with it, pretty much local shows only. If the story was accurate when I purchased the car, it currently has less than 2,400 miles on the motor and transmission rebuilds. The motor is out of an old trooper car and is a 1970 440HP(high performance), the guy told me he put $8000 in the motor when rebuilt. It has the “march” aluminum pulley setup on the fan, alternator and PS. Has Tri Y headers with flowmaster exhaust through to chrome tips out the rear valance. Estimated 500 horse. The radiator was redone when motor was. It has a 750 street avenger carb. There is currently is a bug in the charging system I am working on, it comes and goes, but doesn’t keep us from driving when and where we want.
Transmission is a 727 with a TPI stall converter and a hurst dual gate shifter inside. This goes back to a posi rear end with 355 gearing.
The body is good with some replacement work done on the rear quarter panels and drivers floor pan. Trunk is fine and rails look solid. I see a little bubbling under the paint on the front lower corner of the passenger door – never saw it until washing this past weekend. Under the hood he painted gloss black with POR as I recall, looks real good and solid. Under the car, he also put the POR stuff under the front and back portions of the car – middle is original. The steering and suspension parts up front are near new. A go-wing was added by me a few years ago. Vinyl top was new when I got it. The paint is pretty good (10 footer) with a few scratches and a chip in the front. The grill is in great condition. The bumpers probably could be rechromed.
The interior has newer carpet, redone seats, dash cap, rally dash and is all complete and looks/shows good. The console I have but don’t use with the current shifter. The is a good modern radio that is tied to a remote controlled CD player. The CD head is up front and the player and big speakers are mounted in the trunk area.
Never raced or been over 80 in my ownership, but have to admit to spinning the tires occasionally. Mash it going down the street at 25 and it will break loose!!!
A $500 deposit will be required within 3 days, full pay in 5 days. This is being marketed locally, so I reserve the right to pull if sold prior to auction close. Or, you can buy it now!
Been a fun car and would say is pretty turn key. 541-805-1617 is how to call about questions.
