1969 Pontiac firebird 350
Needs total restoration but great solid southwest project car! Car does run and drive now but I would only drive on trailer or on auto transporter. The last time car was registered for the road was 1992. After 1992 I was told it had a mild built 400 motor 6X heads with rebuilt aoto transmission. But please ask for any numbers or pics to make sure its a 400 motor. Car has been sitting for years at a dusty storage lot in Las vegas NV. Will need tune up, all fluids changed, fuel tank cleaned out and probably alot more. Last year we installed dual exhaust W/flowmaster mufflers to clean up and sell but never did. I THINK CAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN THE DRY SOUTHWEST DESERT.
Motor> Seems to run good with bad gas. We added some fuel and charged a battery and it fired up. Dont hear any knocks or ticks from motor. Sounds good after warmed up but needs gas tank cleaned out and tune and maybe carb rebuilt? Has power steering leak. Dont see any leaks from trans or motor.
Transmission> Seems to work fine but have only drove around our lot. Forward and revers works now but you never know with a project car that has been sitting for a long time. Floor shifter might need adjusting.
Body> Someone started to sand, primer body but not a good job. Will need complete body and paint. But car to me looks 98% rust free and I dont see any major dents or old repairs. Car has all glass.
Interior> Needs complete interior. Everything you see in pics will be in trunk. The only two new parts I see is the tail light lens.
