Up for grabs is a beautiful, and fairly rare 1959 Pontiac Laurentian, 4 door hardtop. Under the hood is a 235ci straight 6 engine, and a 3 speed manual transmission. The engine ran last summer but it needs some major TLC to be up to full running condition. The body is in amazing condition for the age of the car because it was preserved under 40 years of coal dust when I got it. There is a small rust hole on each front quarter panel and are easily fixed. There is also rot in front of the rear left wheel (see pictures) and there are a few small holes in the floorboards and a baseball sized hole in the trunk, a regular find for a car of this age. Glass is in great condition, except for a small crack on the bottom of the windshield. The chrome on the car is good except for a few pits here and there and the body does have a few small dents on the sides. The car was repainted a long time ago and it’s peeling off in some places such as the trunk, roof, and hood. The interior is all original and is in good condition except for a large tear in the front seat, and a few small tears on the back seat and headliner. Car has 62,430 miles. It is located in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, Canada.
