Fast440 is pleased to offer this dry climate Oklahoma car that is all original and garage kept since new. exceptionally solid, original paint, and an excellent foundation for the new owner to take it to the next level without the hassle of a complete restoration. Some detail work and professional paint touchup work, and you would really have something special. Great originality on this factory Cameo White car, and It's Pedigree includes a Factory Build sheet Warranty book, Owner's Manual and Salesman's pre-order form.
This Trans Am was built in Van Nuys California and delivered to Norman Oklahoma. It is equipped with the WS6 Handling package which includes Four-Wheel Disc Brakes. Other factory options include 15X8 Snowflake wheels, F41 Heavy-Duty Suspension, power windows, power locks, cruise control, Posi-Traction rear differential, Heavy-Duty Alternator and cooling system, factory air conditioning, sound deadening and an L80 403 CID engine and Turbo 350 automatic transmission (Numbers Matching). Ordered as a "Bird Delete" car. The car came with factory CB Radio, though no longer present.
Inspection of the vehicle exterior reveals all original paint and factory decals, bright looking, and very good-to-excellent condition in terms of original. Plastic bumpers show no cracks or disfiguartion. A few nicks, chips and door dings can be observed. Exterior glass and trim items are in exceptional condition in terms of original, and the Snowflake wheels look remarkable. Some professional paint touch up work would really take this car to the next level, or enjoy the car the way that it is.
Inspection of the interior shows completely original down to the carpet. Needs a headliner and a few other trim item repairs to be excellent. Bright looking gauge cluster and the dash pad and steering wheel are extremely well preserved. Everything works except the clock, and though the driver side power window works, it is lazy.
Exceptionally solid body top to bottom with the exception of the area underneath the rear decklid (shown). This is a typical rust area for these cars, and could be easilly repaired. No other rust or rust repair observed.
 
The 403 CID engine runs strong, starts reliably, no strange noises and does not need to be rebuilt. The air-conditioning system is complete and blows cold. The heater core needs to be replaced. No rear differential whine, and the transmission shifts firm. The car tracks straight and the front end feels firm.
Difficult to find a Trans Am this original and un-molested at this price. More attention to detail would make this a fabulous car. Those who appreciate originality will like this one.
