Up for auction is a rare 1970 Ram Air III GTO Judge 4 speed in a unique color scheme. I am listing it for a family member. Their description follows:
This is a real 1970 NUMBERS MATCHING GTO JUDGE, Ram Air III, 4-speed project car. The gentleman that I bought it from claims to be the original owner. The car was in a collision sometime around 1974 or 75 and he never repaired it. It hasn't been driven since. This car does not run. It is in very poor yet restorable condition because of it's outdoor storage. I have the front bumper, it is bent due to the collision. The bumper brackets seem to be OK.
The car is complete except for the following: radiator, air cleaner, Ram Air pan, rear spoiler, exhaust pipes, distributor, battery and cables, spare and jack and some other body parts. The car still has the original carb, heads, intake manifold, Ram Air exhaust manifolds, AM radio. The alternator, rear axle and transmission are presumed to be originals. The transmission has the correct casting number. As of now, I have not retrieved the transmission stamping number. The car was built during the last week of September, 1969, in Arlinton Texas. Engine block : original VIN, WS code, dated H089,Ram Air III 400, 366hp Heads : casting # 12, both mathing date of H089 Intake manifold: casting # 9799068, dated H229 Carb : Production # 7040273, WC, dated 2339. Trans: casting 3925661, 4-speed muncie, 2.52 first gear ratio. Paint code 75, Cardinal Red Interior: code 254, red bucket seats. Rear Axle : 3.55 ratio posi, 10 bolt.
