Here for auction is a very clean original 1971 Pontiac Lemans sport. The car is in very good shape for its age and has been well taken care of. The car would make a great daily driver or would be an excellent platform for a GTO clone. The car has lots of options like bucket seats and console, tachometer hood, power brakes, A/C, power steering, Rally wheels. vinyl top. The car has the original 350 2 barrel motor and automatic transmission. I did come across the build sheet for the car above the gas tank but there is a small piece of the uper right corner missing but all the options are on there so she is documented as having all these options.Cosmetically the car looks great she is in very nice shape for her age. She has been painted once and the paint looks very nice but it does show some age and she has a few blemishes here and there but overall the car looks very nice and she is super straight. The bumpers and trim are all in excellent shape with minimal pitting and the car has never been in any accidents. The vinyl top is new and there was no rust under it before it was installed this car must have sat in a garage or under a cover in a dry place because she is rust free. The floors are solid and the back window area is solid. The interior is about the same as the outside very nice but does show some age. Very nice for a driver. All the gauges work and the wipers and the heater work but unfortunatley the A/C does not. The seats are nice with no rips or tears and the headliner is not sagging. The carpet could use to be replaced but it is still serviceable for a driver. The car runs and drives very well she starts easily and the motor runs smooth and has lots of power. The trans shifts smoothly and the brakes are in good shape. Mechanically the car is good shape and I dont see any reason why you couldnt fly out and drive her home. The tires are brand new BFG's with less then 100 miles on them. All in all she is a very nice survivor not a restored car but a nice example of an unmolested car that you can drive and enjoy as is or work on her while you enjoy her. A few badges some strips and a deck spoiler and you could make everybody think you just spent a ton of money on a GTO. This car is being offered AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied.
