Bidding on a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville 2 door.
This is a numbers matching car. Original 389 V-8 engine and looks to be original trans. The date code for the engine is F86 and the block stamp code indicates it is the 389 with the 4bbl carb.
The car runs and sounds great! Car has no trouble starting right up and ready to drive now. The engine needs to be dialed in as far as the carb and it still runs very very strong. Started cleaning the engine and looks very good under all the grease and dirt, did not have time to finish cleaning it all.
The paint looks to me original (burgandy) and has some oxidation, not sure if it will buff out or not. The interior needs to be restored and the original radio is gone. The front bumper has some rust and the trunk also has a little rust damage. Around the back window in one spot is the only visable rust on the outside of the car.
I bought the car to restore but just dont have the time right now and dont have anywhere to store it so its got to go. Bought new carpet that goes with the car here off ebay, only cost 124.00.
