1969 Firebird convertible with 400 engine and automatic transmission, not a numbers matching car, 3:55 gears, limited slip differential. New brakes and brake lines (front disk and rear drums), rebuilt transmission, rebuilt motor and new exhaust with hooker headers. The body is solid, but not perfect as you can see in the pictures. The vehicle turns over, but still needs fine tuning before you could drive it away. As such, you will need to tow the vehicle. The majority of the work remaining is cosmetic, including interior, small body work and paint. Also included with the vehicle is a new alternator, new K&N air filter assembly, numerous Firebird books and the shop manual and body manual on CD. The car is currently located in Endicott, NY. On Jul-25-08 at 11:10:52 PDT, seller added the following information:Vehicle convertible top motor is not connected and has not been verified to be functioning. I was told upon purchasing the vehicle that the convertible top motor should function, but can not be certain. Also, the drivers side floor pan should be replaced due to poor installation by the previous owner. The underside of the vehicle has been protected by POR-15. |
