Up for auction is a beautiful 1966 Pontiac Lemans this is a very nice car completly redone I am going to list its bad points frist than a few of its good since everything else is new ,repaired or replaced with the best parts I could find.The glass is good but not all are perfect,there is a small crack in the surface compound on the passenger door(bottom front pic. included) & the paint is not perfect but still very nice.could need a screw ,bolt or something tighten I dont know about. Now a few of the good points a Very good frame-off restoration frame was cleaned & undercoated,body parts floor & trunk pans installed with the aid of a body rotissorie,new quarter panels welded. The motor was rebuilt bored .030 over & high grade parts used (app. 300 hp with gas milage at 15 city) The interior is all brand new with harrison 200 amp am fm cassette .wood steering wheel, dash bezel redone and one of the nicest consoles I have seen, new wiring harness and everything works, I stiil have the orginal steering wheel & bench tested am radio,Chrome & embelms are very nice . On Jul-25-08 at 12:10:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi, Ive been trying to do this all day, OK there are a few minor problems I should list. the rad. will force fuild out if its filled completly up but I never had a problem with it,the hood could be adjusted because the back stays up when you close it about one forth of in. I just push it down & it stays,there is paint worn off under were keys hang under switch, heater?def. bezel paint is thin & theheater/def slide doesnt go over the whole way over but it still works fine, if you hit a big bump or RR tracks at a fairly high speed wheel on left side will rub tire(tire has slight rub mark,I was advised to add a lead additive every other fill up. I am lowering res. 500.00 so new owner can fix this or any other little problem. car is fine but is being sold as is.... Ive been trying to put up pics of trunk I forgot I have them I just cant get them on..Im trying tobe as fair & honest as possible I want new owner to be satisfied & happy thanks
