1974 PORSCHE 914
Hi up for auction is a gorgeous 1974 Porsche 914 Targa. This sporty little bright yellow 914 is powered by a 1800cc motor that has the power that Porsche is known for but still gets superb gas mileage. It has a 5 speed transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels. The motor starts effortlessly and revs very smoothly. The new transmission shifts excellent through all 5 forward gears and reverse. All lights and signals work as they should, and the windows and door locks all work properly. To take the top off, it is as simple as releasing a couple of latches, and storing the top in the rear trunk. The vehicle also has a forward trunk due to it being a mid-engine car. The unique aspect of the 914 is Porsches claim that the vehicle had a perfect 50/50 weight distribution, which helps explain the fantastic handling.
The paint on this car is pristine and still retains the glossy shine as you can see in the pictures. The interior is immaculate. The carpet, door panels, and pan are all in excellent shape. The dash is also in great shape, with all guages working properly. All tires have plenty of life left in them and the rims are in great shape
The car itself has 135,000 miles on it but the mileage after the complete restoration is 1,500. It has a completely rebuilt transmission and engine and everything on it is like brand new.
