Here's a 356 S Coupe with luggage rack you can enjoy touring around in immediately. This car runs excellent and is really a head turner. While this is not the original "S" engine, it is a 1958 with a big bore kit. I have kept the car in indoor storage with a car cover on it. So the car is very clean. The car starts up great, the clutch and transmission are in good working condition, and it goes very fast. As with most of these cars, it does leak a minimal amount of oil. But no more than usually expected.
Interior:
Good overall condition. Upholstery is a mix of original and replacement panels (I just replaced the two door panels and panel under rear window). Floor mats appear to be original and are in used but fair condition. Headliner is in good condition. The clock, Odometer, Tachometer and heat are not currently working. A mechanic recently told me all the left heater box needs is a small connector pipe. The Radio is the Blauplunct original and works well. New Speakers have replaced the original. The switch to the left of the steering wheel was a replacement horn, but the original horn is back in working order. The wipers,blinkers and all the lights work. Seat recliner controls work, rear view mirror and sun-visor mirrors have original glass. the two rear-side vent windows are cracked.
Paint is in good condition. It does have some small surface scratches on right quarter panel. Almost all of the rubber seals around windows and trim are in good condition. The left door window channel rubber needs replacing.
Rust:
There seems to be no rust found. It did have minimal surface rust that the previously owner took care of. On the left door it does seems to have had previous body work on the door. But the integrity of the body and the structure has not been compromised. All the panels are soild and in good condition.
