Porsche : 914 914-6 1970 Porsche 914-6 GT Clone Project W/ 911 2.2L Engine

Ok.  I am selling this very reasonably !  At the starting price I am Loosing $3500.00  In What I have invested. Anyone who knows 914 Know that it is difficult to find many of the included items and that they can be quite costly.  A Very good value. Looking for a buyer ready to complete this project.  Im dissapointed that Im selling and further loosing this much.  A Great place for someone doing a great 914-6 Conversion!  1970 Porsche 914-6 / or GT Clone  Project W/ 911 2.2L Engine. This was a Project that I was working on however given my divorce and situation I have made the decision to discontinue the project.  Many Many Hours have been spent in collecting parts and seriously in many cases the best that could be found or the right thing for this project. I have invested between 11-12K into the project. It is a very desirable 914 Green. This is based on a 1975 body that had the front and rear converted to properly accomadate Correct Early 914-6 Bumpers. The Front and Rear Bumpers have been rechromed. The Rear bumper is a Correct 914-6 Rear Bumper. Both Bumper pads fron and rear are brand new. None of these items have been on the car but carefully in storage prior to taking the photos as I was thinking about the painting the car silver.  Everything was stripped down for painting. The Paint and minor remaining bodywork should prove simple in easy for the new owner.  It includes a new porsche Battery tray assembly as this was reusted. Their are a few small hold and surface reust in the far back end of the rear trunk. Restoration design makes a replacment piece if you wish to replace the whole thing for about $70.00.  Other than that the only rust is a few small holes near the front drivers side windshield piller.  The 914 Floors are rust free and solid and over all the car is very straight.  I looked a long time to find a solid car that had minimal to no rust. No rust was simply impossible but this was the result of many many long months of searching for a solid body that would not require thousands of dollars in corrective repair.  Purchased in San diego California. Brought back to phoenix.  Asside from the Stunning new bumpers the Lower Rear Valance is a genuine 914-6 and is in good shape.  I replace the fron 914 suspention with a 911 SC Struts and hubs that make for an improved front end. the rear has 914-4 to 914-6 Adaptors on the car now but I am including Genuine 914-6 Hubs for the rear that I purchased several years ago. These are not the so called 911 conversion that Does not work to correctly mount into the rear trailing arms, This is the real deal and I pulled them out of a set of 914-6 Trailing arms as I was going to powercoat and replace the bearings durring the correct assembly process. The Have correct 914-6 14" Fuchs.  The Interior door pannels need to be replaced  However the Early Back pad and single seat are ex cond. will simply need interior carpet. Possible seat recovery if your going to make this pristine. The Floor as I mentioned are solid and and moisture your see on interior is from hosing off the car prior to pictures.  The Car Had Brand NOS Euro Rear signals and the back also has a origional 914-6 Emblem.  The Car Includes a Porsche 911 2.2L Enging that I bought From a guy back east.  I was going to replace the enging seals as I purchased this a a running engine but wanted to degrease and replace the Oil return tubes with the included weltmeister return tubes and fresh seals. Many Enging parts associated with the engine and  Zenith Carbs were taken to be re zinc plated and can be seen replated in photos. Carbs are disassembled and and will need proper reassembly with rebuild kits. Hs the 914-6 Oil cooler I purchased but will need the oil tank & hoses.  The carbs will look very pretty when complete as I had done a sent in the past like these for a 911.  The Engine has a Patric Motorsports Quick Six Mount and will include a Side Shifter or tail shifter tranny your choice.  Includes the pedals and msc parts and blower system for the car as they are in a box for painting. The Interior dash is stunning I paid over $500.00 + Shipping for this dash 4 years ago and it has set in a dark box in storage untill the photos. The NOS Dashes are knowlonger available and recovered ones are $650.00 today. Many expensive additions have been added to this project and reserve is slightly less than I paid to put this together for everything I paid totaled in this project Most everything you see was simply installed to get the car shown with some of its potential together for photos.  Pleanty of wonderful itmes in this project, Some Rare items and a Great Start on a very desirable car.  I am listing some of the items that are included. Car will include the title I received when I purchased the car in California and everything shown.  The Engine will be in the car and I mean the passenger side interior as It still needs rubber mounts and tranny connected. The car will need to be trailed to its new location prior to finishing and painting.  The 914-6 Steel Fender Flairs Shown were purchased from Auto Atlanta Several years ago before I had the car in anticipation. They are Steel Reproductions and includes the GT Side Skirts. 

If the Winning bidder does not want these Fender flairs or skirts They can Deduct $1,000.00 From the purchase price of the car if they are looking to go to 914-6 Spec and not use them. This is the winning bidders option for this.
