Vehicle Description
|
|
I have owned this car for about 17 years and driven it regularly about 20,000 miles over that time. It has spent most of its life in Colorado so there is little rust. Runs and drives well although it does smoke (I think because of an oil leak) I believe the engine was rebuilt before I bought it. The body is rough. It has numerous dents. Major dents include damage to the right door and rear quarter panel caused by a boulder that fell on it. Damage to the left rear quarter panel when the wheel came off. Paint is faded and there is surface rust in a few spots.
The car has been professionally maintained by a Porsche mechanic and was tuned up about 1000 miles ago. I have had no major problems.
Fuel injection has been replaced with carburetors.
New clutch cable and throttle cable.
Handbrake has been replaced but the pivot is rusted so it does not work.
A separate starter switch was installed to bypass the ignition.
Missing the front spoiler.
Interior is good although the dashboard is cracked.
Rear window rattles because seal is dried up.
With the proper body work this could be a very nice car. Please email any questions.
