Offered for sale is my 1988 Porsche 944S. Its condition is well above average considering age and mileage. The car was repainted about four years ago by one of the best body and paint shops in my area. The body is very straight and the paint is nearly flawless, except for a few small chips. Door handles, emblems, bumpers, mirrors, etc. were removed prior to painting and new rubber was installed. The paint still retains a high gloss. The interior is clean but the driver's seat is showing some wear. The dash looks good thanks to a vinyl overlay on top of the cracked original. Tires are one year old Goodyear Eagle GTs with approximately 5,000 miles on them. The car has a new Sony AM/FM/CD with IPOD port. All accessories except the air conditioning are in good working order. The air conditioning has been converted to R134A and needs to be recharged about once a year. When charged, the air conditioning works but the compressor is noisey and the drive belt tends to squeal at times. The air bag light remains lit on the dash at all times. The engine runs well and the 5-speed transmission and clutch are in good working order. A particularly nice feature is the power sunroof which is completely removable for topless driving.
