I truly believe if we were not in the middle of a Recession This vehicle would have sold a month ago for $12,000 to 14,000
I know she will go this time What kind of a vehicle this age, can a person buy for this kind of money. We are talking of an investment now, I have to think things will turn in a few years, If this vehicle was kept in the condition it`s in now, You would do well with it, and if things get worst, at least you have a vehicle that`s good on gas,
The first time we ran, we did not get the pan photo good, we do this time, there is no rust, The surface rust you see, comes off with a wire brush, his plan was to finish the under coating this year, Clean it up under neath and finish the under coating.

What an absolute beauty! The gentleman who owns this vehicle is only the second owner - and he's owned it for about 19 years. It's always had a heated garage during winters and it`s never been driven during winters.
* * The first and last photo were taken last summer - but all the others were just taken today. He bought it in California from the original owner - and drove her here to Minnesota .
Around 400 to 450 miles ago It had a very thorough overhaul including - Motor - New Pistons - Jugs - Head rebuilt - Carbs. rebuilt etc. A pressure plate and clutch, thrown out bearing, were all replaced at the same time. The brakes were also re-done during this time period. This is a 4 speed Transmission * * This classic beauty was not being refit to resell - the owner had a passion for her. Several personal things were done such as new seats, Steering Wheel, Oil pan sump etc.
* * Health issues are now forcing this sale. * * The original color has been changed from RED to it`s current color . . . 99 Porsche Grey and it's an absolutely great job, the metal is straight It was done by a good body man.
* * We have like-new after market seats and ALL the interior has been replaced, even the head liner. * * I have spent a few hours with this fellow and His Porsche - and he's spent thousands of hours with His Porsche. * * I know there are many of you who have put vehicles in the shape you want them - just for you - so you do not keep track of the money and all the things you do to them . . . like you would if you were making it ready just to resell. * * To say that this car has been "customized" would be an understatement. * * And I only say this because there were so many things this guy's done to car . . . . It was hard to recall all. * * The side glass and rear window were tinted. All the sealing rubber around all glass doors was replaced. The front bumper is a European style bumper - it looks great. The tires have 400 - 450 miles on them They are Bridgestone Low Profile And again less than 500 miles on ever thing. * * New gas tank and sending unit. The oil pan has a bigger sump The heater cores were sand blasted. * * So many many little things, you would only do because you were going to keep and drive this vehicle. * * I've owned and sold a few vehicles in my day. THIS BABY IS NICE! I would . . . . after the basic oil change-air pressure etc. . . . all the things you would do before a trip . . . . get in this little sweetie and drive it to either coast without hesitation.
