| Half-way restored 1986 SPG for sale. Over the last year I have sunk more than $11,000 into this car. Work includes: stripped to body, rust removed, repainted Edwardian grey, complete new suspension system (dropped roughly 2 inches w/ low-profile tires), new coolant system, complete new braking system, new dashboard (last one left in country), many new parts (I have all of the receipts for work done). Engine, turbo, and trans all work perfectly, car passed NJ State Inspection and I have been using it as a daily driver. Turbo pulls real strong. Purchased a house and now I need to sell my project. Unfortunately, some meatball rubbed up against me in a parking lot and there is a small rub on the passenger's side door (see pic) otherwise paint is perfect and the car is completely rust-free. Doors are off a 93' 900 and all jambs have been repainted. I bought a complete new leather package that comes with the car. It was custom made by W & W enterprises in PA. The leather is charcoal grey as I was trying to keep the car as stock as possible. Don't be fooled by the mileage on this car, the engine sounds like it is brand-new. It was owned by Jerry Sweet of Sweet Motors in Mine Hill NJ before I bought it from him and started the restoration process, he had it dialed in and it still is. It will be a classic in 2011. |
