This 1970 Shelby G.T. 350 is an original Pennsylvania car and was brought to Wisconsin in 2004. This is a numbers matching car and still retains its original 351W engine and close-ratio 4 speed Top Loader transmission, which have never been apart. The car has 41,435 original miles on the odometer and still has its original exhaust resonators and H-pipe installed. This car is equipped with all the original Shelby equipment including seat belts, oil pressure & alternator gauges, 140 MPH speedometer, 8,000 RPM Tachometer, roll bar, seat belts, console, 9" rear axle with 3.25 Traction-Lok ratio, Lucas fog lights, etc. The interior is completely original and in excellent condition including original carpet, seats, door panels, dash pad, fold-down rear seat, and seat belts. The complete interior has never been out of the car. All the fiberglass is original, correct and in excellent condition. The engine has never been apart and still retains its original 4-V carb, exhaust manifolds, air cleaner assembly, heat riser, heads and Shelby aluminum intake. The car was painted sometime in the mid 80's and the paint looks presentable from a distance, but will need to be painted at some point. The car still has all of its original sheet metal, but the doors and rear quarter panels do have body filler in them and are starting to come out. The front frame rails and torque boxes have been re-enforced by a previous owner and may need some attention. The rest of the undercarriage looks great. The floors, trunk floors and drop-offs, rear frame rails are excellent. The Shelby 5 spoke wheels and tires are newer reproductions and in excellent condition. All the chrome is perfect and shiny with no pits or blemishes.
This car could be driven as is and is very presentable even with the tired paint or take the time to restore it. This would be an easy restoration since all the hard to find items are with the car and in excellent condition, basically do the body work, paint it and install all the original parts. It receives a ton of interest at car shows because of its unique color combination. I do have a Marti Report for the car. I have owned this car since 2004 and have kept it in dry storage and if I'm lucky I've put less than 200 miles on it. Please ask any questions before bidding. I am interested in purchasing a restored or project 1965, '66 or '67 Shelby, but I will consider all trades and offers. I can be reached at 414-881-2553 or by email george@giuffre.com. If you have a trade, please email me some good pictures and a description of your car.
