Shelby #4371. Hello Im selling my 68 KR. The car is in the registry and IM the third owner. I purchased the car in 2002.  The car in beautiful and fully restored. Nut to bolt and retains all its orig sheet metal. I have a pic of the car before it was restored and it was in incredible shape. It spent most of its life in North Carolina. I have the orig bill of sale and build sheet. The car was restored by the second owner Daniel woodard Jackson. He was a shelby collector and owned some of the nicest shelbys Ive ever seen. I hve a few Judging sheets on the car MCA  trailered div. The car received a gold award at the Charlotte 35 show. The motor is the orig the car was born with and retains an orig FORD exhaust system. The car speaks for itself and I welcome you to come look at the car. The car is not and I do mean not full of repo parts. Even the spare is an orig spare that has never been on the ground. I have an orig set of bias plys that have the orig rims on them. The car currently has an Orig set of ten spokes. I have the hubcaps. The car runs flawless. The only thing that needs checking or should I say adjusted are the brakes. The car has been sitting in a climate controlled enviroment and I have not had it out in 6 months. I currently also own 66 gt 350 #1506 it gets all my attention Ive owned that car for 11 yrs. I have owned several shelbys and this KR is by far the best. Ive been told by several shelby guys that this is one of the best KR's they have ever seen. The reason im selling is I have a friend who has a carryover car that I have wanted since 97 is willing to sell and this is the only reason. I want the car to go to a person who can show her like she needs. Im a business owner and Just dont have the time.  I know I have not even started to cover the bases of this car so please email or call me for any questions you may have. Hello I am going to post some very interesting news and new info about the car very soon. Just spoke to The original owner of the car who is 83 Austin C McCarthy "MAC" some amazing stories. Very good friends with Carrol Shelby Bud Moore. Owned his own Flying company in Pontiac Michigan.Flew Carrol and many of the top Ford Exec all arounf the country.  Bud Moore Engineering Blue printed the engine and Tranny in In 1973 have the orig paper work from Bud Moore Engineering. He never drove the car in rain of winter salt. Kept in his own garage or one of his 18 airport hangers.He currently still owns 13 ecotic cars including porshe lamborginnis austin martins Lotus. Yep. Will be adding more. H told me he could not believe Mr Jackson di any kind of restoration on the car as it was perfect when he sold it to him in the late 80's. So the pic I have of the car before it was painted was actually the orig paint on the car. Its incredible. I spent mor than an hr on the phone with him and he had some truely wonderful stories about Carrol  Bud Dave Evans Larry Shinoda. ALSO AJ Foyt.  He also owned 2 other shelbys 68 kR conv n 70 GT500.
