This 1965 Daytona Coupe (recreation) is 1 of 6 by Contemporary Classics of NewYork from 1995. The total cost of construction was 135k. I had this car built for vintage roadracing. Body is fiberglass. Interior is full aluminum with complete roll cage. All intrumentation is vintage stewart-warner. Engine is a Ford Boss 302(shortblock) with dart heads and original cobra intake with weber carburetors.Transmission is a 4sp toploader ford and the rear differential, is a jaguar style independent with inboard brakes.Wheels are powder-coated pindrive knockoffs.Bottom line is the car was never vintage raced....sits in the garage with 350miles on her. Time to go! Any further questions will be answered by me, Gary Barnes 410-218-5992 cell or email gpbarnesracing@yahoo.com |
