1967 Shelby GT 500
This is a complete no expense spared restoration which has less than 50 miles on it since its completion. Everything about this car is correct from the date codes to the original candy red color. I completed the restoration about 2 years ago and the car has been sitting in my garage with the exception of a drive around the block once in awhile, hence the 50 miles. At the 2006 Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, A Shelby GT500 #1326 sold for $451,000.00 it was identical to mine with the exception it had inboard headlights. Well those days have gone, but I believe that the market is still pretty strong and getting stronger, in Oct on E-Bay a Shelby similar to mine sold for $215,000.00. so if your looking for an investment it's probably a good time to do it.
Heres a few things about the car:
Original 428 PI Police interceptor motor (complete rebuild) correct cast # and date codes on everything
Koni shocks and all new suspension ( front and rear)
Posi trac (complete rebuild)
New original exhaust
Interior is correct including seat belts
Instruments are all correct and working including clock and am/fm radio
Correct Goodyear E70-15 speedway tires including spare
All new brake and fuel lines (and tank)
As I said nothing was spared so if you have any questions feel free to call 928-778-4840 my name is John. Thanks and good luck.
