This is a fabulous find of a completely original & documented KR Convertible, it's beautiful Lime Gold finish is still better than 95% original, touched up only on the top of the left front fender, it's original Black interior w/it's Decor Bucket Seats is near perfect as well as it's original Black power top still retaining the original part # sticker as equipped from the factory, the powerful 428-4V Cobra Jet engine is an original matching # motor as is the C-6 Automatic transmission, 3.50 Traction-Lok axle ratio, GT Equipment Group,Visibility Group, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Tilt-Away Steering Column, AM Radio, Interior Decor Group & the Tachomater w/Trip Odometer,it also came w/the standard 5 Spoke Hubcaps.It was delivered new thru O.Z.Hall Motors from Birmingham,Alabama on July 16th,1968. This car is so exceptional that all others can be judged by it, having all of it's original componants, original body panels & all original floors showing NO RUST EVER other than normal aging of the undercarriage & engine bay, having all of it's original clay oxide all in place & all the original factory markings on the leaf springs, the drive shaft & front suspension, the original drippings on the floor panels & fender wells that most restorations do not have & are removed when being restored...this is the real deal as you see it !!!, it even has an original build sheet pulled out from under the dash. Now wearing a new set of Goodyear Speedway 350 tires, it completes the appearence that you remember from the original 60's ads in Road & Track or Motor Trend magazines. This GT-500KR was fully verified & inspected by Ed Myer from the Shelby American Automobile Club where he is a Judge for the Councour events. Ed is one of the most knowledgeable experts on Shelby Mustangs. This survivor GT-500KR Convertible is one that we should keep as they will be $500K.in a matter of a few years...

I am representing this gorgeous GT-500KR Convertible. I can personally answer all questions. Please take note...we need a $2500. deposit within 48 hours of making a deal. The winner then must come inspect the car in person or have a representitive come do the same within 14 days if he chooses. If the winner doesn't come in person to inspect the car & takes our word on it's originality & condition, we're sure they will be very happy w/the results once it gets delivered to the new owner. Our limited free time & tight work schedules these days don't allow much spare time to fly all over the Country to see 1 or 2 cars in person. Most of our clients take our word on it's overall condition.
