1948 Studebaker Starlite Coupe completely original and unmolested. Recently this car has had new tires, water pump, carb kit, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. The fluids were changed from front to back including transmission and differential (everything looked good). It has been driven 500 miles in the last thirty days and runs/drives and stops as new. It is as far as we know 100% road ready and should able to drive anywhere you want to go. The heat gauge was not reading right so a new universal heat gauge was installed and reads correctly. It does have a hill holder and climatiser (which is bypassed).
The car has garage scratches on the right side (the metal doesn't appear to be damaged, just the paint). There is a small rust hole on the right front fender otherwise the body is rock solid. The interior is in excellent original condition for a car of 61 years, the dash looks showroom new, there is a small patch on the rear seat. The trunk contains the original spare and is rock solid. The chrome on the car is in perfect original condition. The windows are all in perfect original condition as well.
The engine runs like a sewing machine and the three speed manual with overdrive work flawlessly. The weatherstripping, door seals, etc are soft and pliable and the old car is whisper quiet running down the road. The radio does light up but does not work. The original owners manual will be included. There is an oil change sticker on the drivers door from May 1964 showing 29k miles.
This car speaks for itself and I can't imagine anyone would be disaapointed with it. It is in absolutely original and in amazing condition for being 61 years old.
