1978 DIESEL Toyota. I bought this 2 months ago with the intent of Repainting and replacing the door skins ( bought them and they are included) and now my work takes me to Italy for the summer, so no time to restore and will need money for the trip.
Runs great, with no mechanical issues. Already registered in Washington so it will pass emissions ( its a diesel). Drives great, 4 speed manual, right hand drive. It also has the PTO driven winch whch is a factory (RARE) option.
Everything on vehicle works, just needs doors skins replaced and paint work to look as NEW.
Has 44,000 miles original, car came from Japan last December.
On May-15-08 at 06:21:21 PDT, seller added the following information:I have added additional pictures to show that this is NOT the traditional rust bucket that these can sometimes be. The rust is ONLY in the door pockets ( the door skins will fix that) and the rear door seal ( also a $125 item). Other then that, there is no real rust anywhere. the black spray spots are primer after taking a few paint bubbles off the vehicle to check for rust depth, which was surface only).
