| Up for sale is my 1986 Toyota Pickup 22R, 4cyl 2.4L 5-speed manual transmission with fuel-injected engine. Truck was bought NEW by my father in 1986 and given to me a few years ago, no other owners. The truck has been VERY well taken care of, just look at the pictures! Truck is all stock parts, except for a new engine. $1200 engine was replaced in June of 2006. Engine starts and runs good, but I think it could use a new head gasket as recently it tends to overheat. Truck has a new alternator, new battery w/ plugs, new thermostat, new headlights, oil change and coolant flush/change all within the last 100 miles. The exterior is in decent condition. No structural problems or frame rust. Truck bed and wheel wells have no holes or big dents. Truck was repainted blue several years ago, nice shiny color! A new bumper was added as well. Defects include random scratches/nicks, a couple small spots of surface rust plus a small dent on the roof, and some clear-coat chipping on the hood and roof. The body has a small chip on the underside of the back passenger-side end (I have the chipped piece). Spare tire (Breakstone) has no leaks and is reliably usable. Tires have good tread depth with several thousands miles left in them. Rear-passenger tire was replaced (new) a few hundred miles ago. The interior is original blue vinyl and looks GOOD for its age. The seat was kept covered and is in good condition, with one small tear on driver side. Floors were covered with mats and look good. Dashboard does have a few cracks. Heat and AC both work great, but AC just blows air. Parking brake works great, no problems. The interior has been well-kept and is original except for an after-market AM/FM cassette stereo with great PIONEER speakers. Original car jack (still works great!) and tool kit are included behind the seat. Overall solid GREAT truck, just last fall I used it to move cross-country and it took me 2000 miles in 2 days with a full load and NO problems!!! I have described the truck to the best of my knowledge, but the truck is sold AS IS/WHERE IT IS. Please let me know if you have any questions before you bid. You can pick it up at my residence in New Mexico, or use BUYER-ARRANGED/FUNDED shipping and delivery. Truck will need to be transported instead of driven due to engine problem mentioned above. Payment: I prefer PayPal, but if you want to make other arrangements you MUST e-mail me before the bid is over (jsredman@gimail.af.mil). Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of end auction. Any questions, please let me know!
