Up for auction is a 1972 Toyota land cruiser FJ40 limited that has had a frame off restoration. The restoration was done about 3 years ago before my ownership. The restoration was done by a professional and is of high quality.
My understanding is the limited FJ40 is very rare. It has all the limited emblems in the correct location.
Many updates were made including 4- wheel disc brakes
Power steering
Air assisted power brakes
Duel battery set up.
The entire frame was powder coated and the underside of the body under coated. The body was taken apart completely to paint with all new hardware.
The original engine was replaced at the time of restoration with a stroker 383 motor with Edelbrock intake manifold and carb. The guy I purchased it from was an older man who had not driven it much since the restoration. The odometer 10th move but the mileage is stuck at 50 miles so I have no idea how many miles are on the new engine but just from the look of the engine it can not be very many. Neither myself or the previous owner ever took this cruiser off road. Not that it can’t handle it but I felt it is just too nice. I get comments and waves ever thing I take it out.

AM/FM with CD changer ( stopped working 1 week ago I think just a loose wire because it goes on but no sound) Needs to be checked out just have not had a chance because it is not easy to get at.
A/C works well but needs to be recharged. I am including a recharge kit with the auction.
Paint and body are in excellent condition. Again no rust not even bubble rust.
Full roll cage with padding.
Leather front seats with 5 point racing restraints in good condition.
Really nice headliner.
All electrical is working .

This rig is being sold because we are starting to build a new home. The cruiser needs nothing and is in exceptional condition compared to most of the cruisers out there with the rust being the greatest issue. Insurance company appraised it for 25,000.00 coverage.
The winning bidder will need to send a 500.00 (via paypal)deposit within 24 hours of the auctions close to hold the vehicle. The balance is due within 1 week of the auctions end. The funds have to clear the bank before the vehicle will be released no exceptions. I have the clear title in hand. I have no problem helping with the shipping pickup.
