| | Vehicle Description |
| 1985 style straight axle Toyota 4Runner SR5. The truck has current CA tags and recently passed California’s stringent smog testing. All-Pro Off-Road straight axle conversion with 4” lift springs and Bilstein 5100 series front shocks. Front axle has an additional gusset. Steering duties are handled by an All-Pro Hy-Steer Crossover Steering system complete with forged chromoly steering arms. Skyjacker Softride 4” rear springs bring up the rear and the u-bolts have been flipped to eliminate the stock Toyota rock magnet u-bolt plates. Stock fuel injected 22RE runs great and does not smoke or burn oil. Stock manual transmission shifts fine through all five of its gears. Transfer case shifts smoothly and works well in all three positions and only needs a Marlin Crawler for the most extreme trails. The fluids in the differentials, transfer case, transmission, and motor have all been replaced. The motor is lubricated by Valvoline Synthetic Max-Life oil. The interior is complete minus a radio. The floor in the passenger compartment has been coated with truck bedliner. The dash has a very small crack near the inclinometer (nearly invisible), the passenger A-pillar trim is cracked, one of the removable top trim pieces is also cracked, and the driver’s door panel has been abused by the warm California sun. The driver’s seat fabric is faded, but not torn. The air conditioning system is complete (minus vacuum control), but does not blow cold air. Hopefully something as simple as a recharge. I did not pursue it as I have not needed it here in coastal California. The HVAC controls are loose in the dash. The heater core has been bypassed by the previous owner and the window washer reservoir plastic is cracked. The 4Runner is rolling on 31” Dunlop all terrain tires with approximately 50% tread life and mounted on black steel wheels. The body has very minimal rust. The only hole is in the passenger fender (which is easily replaced or covered by Bushwacker flares). There is also a small dent on the driver's quarter. All the rust has been treated with POR 15 which is supposed to permanently keep it from coming back. The paint is faded and has some small surface rust spots, but the body and frame are extremely solid. All the power windows, gauges, lights, etc. work as Toyota intended. Being a SR5 means it has all the bells and whistles including an inclinometer and driver’s seat adjustable lumbar support. Auction includes front wheel spacers, new vented Land Cruiser style rotors, IFS calipers (cores), IFS front driveshaft (front yoke on differential has been modified and will probably need eventual replacement. If the auction hits the reserve, I will include the custom grenade shift knob constructed from an actual grenade. If you need additional photos, please e-mail me and I'll try to get them to you. A multitude of projects and my loving family dictate the sale of my Toy. Vehicle must be paid for in full within seven days of auction closing and must be removed before the end of May unless prior arrangements have been made.
