Up for bid is a "1977 Toyota Celica GT (liftback)",Usually I completely restore these cars before I list them,But I cant seem to get around to doing that much anymore, I bought this car from an auction about a month ago,This car has a lot of potenial, to be a great car!,The interior is in pretty good shape as you can see from the pictures, its got some door dings,a little rust and little dents here and there,But with a little sanding and body work,this could be a GREAT CELICA, The car the 20R motor in it that runs great,the 5 speed transmission works and shifts fine,Recent tune up,No leaks Everything is as pictured, so please look at them carefully,Please remember this is a 30 year old car,And as time goes on they are getting rare,you dont see them much on the road anymore,But this is the car that everyone wanted back in the day! This is a project car and with some TLC, I see it as an investment,because any money put into it just adds value, with body work and paint this car would be worth about $4500.00, that has been my average price on ebay for a fully restored Celica, I have put some late model Supra rims on it, to give it that sporty look,with some new 215-60-14 tires,The interior is in pretty good shape,looks like the owner before me was trying to restore it,but didnt get to finish,The car runs strong, the odometer reads 75,576 and I dont know for sure if thats original, or 175,576 or 275,576 The down sides: I didnt put a stereo or speakers in it, the car has no A/C, The sunroof has a small leak that I should just fix, It rains all the time here,Washington State does not require emissions testing for cars over 25 years old, but the car does not smoke, The seats are ripped, but have nice seat covers over them, The carpet on the driver side has 2 holes, but covered with the floor mat,I have put some pictures of some of the defects,in the car, But none of it is anything major.
