I am the original owner of this car. I bought this car brand new from Maplewood Toyota in Maplewood, Minnesota in Nov. 1985. It was a brand new '86, it cost $17,000. I drove it that winter and only that winter. It was stored winters there after. Probably because of months of cold weather storage, I started to have rings problems in one cylinder. At 156,000 I replaced the motor with one out of a crate from Japan. It is reported to have 50,000 Kilometers on it. Which is about 30,000 miles. The Odometer now reads 180,000 so the motor has about 54 thousand. This car is rust FREE! My family and I moved to Las Vegas, NV about 6 yrs ago when the car had 75,000 on it. My traveling sales Rep. husband took to driving it year round. More than half this 22 year old cars miles have been added in the last 6 years. She is quick and clean. Handles like a sports car should. The desert sun is not kind to paint. If you want to just drive, it is ready. If you want to trick it out, it will need paint. Original everything...including wheels with full sized spare. It even comes with a Le Bra. Has the machanical sun roof option. The brakes are new. As is the Clutch.
