This car was totally restored down to the frame. After being completly apart for for 4 years it was completed in 1999. The car has been under cover and only driven when the suns is out. The only rust on the car was found on the fenders. All 4 fenders where replaced with new ones. The body was removed and treated with POR-15, as was the entire frame. After the body was placed back on the frame it was stripped down to the metal while the engine was being rebuilt. The car was primed and sprayed in color and then the new fenders were where installed. Then the car was sprayed again and clear coated. The car was painted as a body on a frame. Everything was removed including the wireing harness. After the engine was reinstalled the car was reassembled with all new or reconditioned parts. Ok, not everything. I reused the seats, that have the fold down headrests and are in exelent condition. The gauges are all original and I have the original AM radio. The bumpers where reused and are probably an 8. All the gaskets, weather stripping and rubber is new. The interior and the door panels are new. The trunk interior is also new. All stickers and under hood lables are new. Soft top and cover are also new. The rear springs in the car where replaced with a compitition spring so the car sits level and doesn't have that TR6 sag. I have pictures of the complete restoration and 90% of the receipts. This is a great car that always starts and runs.
