Offered for your consideration is a brilliant restored 65,000 mile original 1976 Triumph TR6. This is a low mileage well preserved TR6 that we updated and took to the next level. The best of both worlds a wonderfully preserved low miles well cared for TR, restored to a wonderful presentation and functionality. Low miles, brilliantly redone, factory air conditioning, and factory overdrive. Unmatched!
Paint & Body
We refinished this TR its original color code #85 Java Green to a high standard. There was little to no bodywork to be done with no damage found, as the original paint had simply faded over the years. The two stage urethane paint is wonderful on the car. These 70’s era cars had paint issues when new as the technology was not great and the quality was always suspect. It is really nice to see a TR done well in its original color in modern urethane. All body panels fit well and maintain excellent gaps. There is a small cut in the top canvas on the drivers side 3/8" long resulting from being pinched in the top bows. It has been repaired by us. All chrome is in wonderful condition and compliments the exterior extremely well.

Interior
This interior is amazing. Most everything has either been replaced or refurbished. All new high quality carpets. The door and windshield seals have been replaced. The wood dash has been replaced with a absolutely gorgeous veneer with deep gloss urethane finish. New door and trim panels. Everything works including the air conditioning and looks as it should. The passenger seat has a small cut about 3/8" long. The seats are original and in very nice condition.

Mechanical
Open the hood and a freshly painted engine compartment is the first thing that catches you eye. We completely stripped everything when we sent this TR6 to the paint shop and had the whole car correctly sprayed and then reassembled it. While out, the motor and was resealed and all new fluids. Ancillaries serviced and rebuilt as necessary. The transmission, overdrive, and 3rd member were inspected and serviced. The brakes were inspected and adjusted and parts were replaced where necessary. The original air conditioning system was upgraded by us to modern standards. We went with a new Sanden compressor, condenser, receiver/dryer, and all new O-Ring style fitting lines. The AC now blows very cold and runs on modern and available R-134. This AC will keep you cool in Houston in summer. I challenge any TR6 to accomplish that! Once all the reassembly was complete, the TR6 received a full tune up and is now ready for the summer. All pollution control equipment in place and fully functional for use in California.

The Bottom Side
Many hours were spent on making the underside of this car as nice as the rest. The frame is straight and covered in new paint and the underside of the body is even painted body color between the rails. No rust, damage, or repairs were found in either the frame or floor pans and no detail has been left untouched.
The original TR6 wheels were refinished and then outfitted with beauty rings. We then installed new period correct Redline tires.

Summation
This TR6 is a low miles original car that we updated and improved to restored standard. A wonderfully driving TR that will please. It will present at show quality. Thoroughly serviced, and brought up to standard by our restoration shop, you will not find a better presented TR 6 that will drive, perform, AC cool, and provide excitement.
