Two 1978 Volkswagen convertibles - two-for-one project
Please note that you are bidding on two Volkswagen convertibles “as is-where is.” Please ask questions before bidding and bid to own. Cars are located in St. Clair Missouri and can be seen by appointment. I will post the exact mileage for each car later.
Car # 1 (the first seven pictures listed) has a bill of sale only. It had a salvage title because of an accident. After the repairs were made (approximately 5 years ago), I moved out of state and lost all the paperwork. It has been stored inside ever since. It starts and runs good. The original spare tire is included and appears to be have never been used. This VW does need seats which car #2 has. Note the tear in the side of the convertible top.
Car #2 (the last six pictures listed- the “Closet” VW) has a clear Missouri title. It is rusty but still has many good mechanical and body parts. It ran when I bought it but does not start now. It would make a good parts car or dune buggy. The motor has been converted to a carburetor which is a real plus.
