THE CAMPER
Up for sale is a wonderful orange 1975 VW Westfalia.

The interior is practically complete; including:

a working sink
fridge
AC inverter
dual battery set up
interior curtains (green)
mosquito screens for the side windows
card table
interior fabric is the original orange plaid

Recent Improvements Include:

new driver side rockers
left and right dog legs
rear quarter panel
battery tray
rear brakes have been replaced (shoes, drum, wheel cylinders, hardware)
the front calipers have been rebuilt
new fuel lines
fuel injection system was replaced with a dual carb set up (complete with electric fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator)
professionally repainted (June 2005) with the original VW paint code
passed three safety inspections since 2005 ( 2 in Ontario and 1 in BC)

The sliding door is in perfect condition. The front axle beam is strong and the steering very tight. Tires are in great shape.
The van's pop top and front seats are only in fair condition, and will require some attention. I believe that the oil cooler gasket has failed and should be looked into. The odometer reads 86000 miles but as it only has 5 digits it may actually be more. I believe that the engine is a 1.8L.
I have personally driven this westy from Montreal, Quebec to Nelson, BC and back (8000+ kms) without a single issue and wouldn't hesitate to do that trip again.

This van has been well loved and maintained and is looking for a new home.
